There’s always time to get ya giggle on – laughing is the best medicine and there is a feast of funny coming our way. The Sunshine Coast Comedy Festival line-up is the gift that keeps on giving, so it’s tough to pick which shows to attend.
Teardrops On My Dildo – Vanessa ‘Larry’ Mitchell
Ok this is going to be a little naughty but a lot funny. I’ve never seen her shows but reading reviews, I feel like she’s had a sneak peek into my past and maybe yours.
Her show is a funny, honest and sometimes confronting commentary on dating, parenting and girly stuff but it’s not just for women (men will laugh out loud too). Prepare to blush at Teardrops On My Dildo (no actual dildos will appear on stage during this performance).

Best Medicine featuring Heath Franklins ‘Chopper’ with Chris Southcote and Rory Lowe
I will be wrapping up the festival with a Sunday Session at Land & Sea Brewery with one of my favourite Aussie characters, Chopper, alongside Rory Lowe who is THE FUNNIEST STORYTELLER EVER – I have watched his videos and am beyond excited to hear his tales in real life.
Joining Chopper at Your Mates Brewing Co., Chris Southcote is pretty new on the comedy scene – I’m looking forward to finding out what he has to offer! Plus, we can share a sneaky beer while we have a good ol’ belly laugh at the brewery.
