If there’s one thing we all love, it’s chocolate! Melanie Rosettenstein and the Hello Sunshine team put their willing tastebuds to work, savouring (and not sharing!) their favourite flavours from Noosa Chocolate Factory.
From dark to milk, fruity to nutty, and everything in between, Noosa Chocolate Factory is choc-o-block full with handcrafted, chocolatey decadence. Between deadlines, we had the delightful task of choosing our favourites at the delicious Sunshine Plaza store! We quickly discovered that although our tastes varied, Noosa Chocolate Factory had something for everyone!
Serving the chocolate-lovers of the Sunshine Coast and Noosa since 2009, the homegrown artisanal chocolate factory is well-known for their specialty handmade chocolate. Made fresh from scratch and encompassing a dark, milk and white chocolate range with all sorts of delectable extras like fruit, jellies, honeycomb, and more, Noosa Chocolate Factory products are uncomplicated and oh-so-tasty.
Best of all, because all their chocolate is free from palm oil (a cheap substitute for cocoa butter you will never find in a Noosa Chocolate Factory slab), you can rest assured you are doing your bit for the environment too.
Now that’s good news indeed.

I’m a milk chocolate gal and can’t resist raspberries, so the Smashed Raspberry slab with 36% cocoa milk chocolate was calling to me from the moment I saw it sitting pretty and pink on the shelf. The contrast between the tangy freeze-dried fruit and the smooth, decadent chocolate makes this an outrageously delicious pairing! Plus, raspberries are a fruit, and fruit is good for you – so it’s basically a health food. Right?

Hands down my favourite Noosa Chocolate Factory flavour is Black Cherry. I love the combination of the sweet cherry with the 70% dark chocolate. It’s delicious!

I chose the Vegan Coconut Rough because it’s always been my childhood favourite ever since I was a little girl. I love the smooth, creamy chocolate flavour with the contrast of the toasted coconut. It’s always been a favourite of mine and now that I can eat it in the vegan chocolate, it helps my lactose intolerant belly.

I’m obsessed with the White Chocolate slab – 29% cocoa white chocolate with notes of caramel and vanilla – it’s pure, just like me. Everything will be all white!

Two of my favourite things: coffee and Noosa Chocolate Factory’s Mocha Slab. It really keeps me going when on deadline – lucky I can get both in-store on my way to the office. I need it and I love it.

Turkish Delight originated in the Ottoman Empire in the early 1700s, and it was a dessert that was used during festivities like weddings. Now when you take that Turkish Delight and you cover it in delicious chocolate like the Noosa Chocolate Factory have done, you’ve got my favourite chocolate of all time. This Rose Turkish Delight slab with its handcrafted rosewater jelly covered in 36% cocoa milk chocolate, is a celebration of flavour and tradition.

My boys and I just love macadamias, so our favourite treat is Mango Macadamias, coated in 29% mango chocolate. They taste like you’ve just eaten a real mango, and they’re crunchy. It’s a thumbs up from us!
