John Caruso discovers first-hand, how a dedicated team can take the headache out of property deals, turning the convoluted into the clear and how seamless service and sharp communication are the key to success.

Buying and selling property can be one of the most stressful (and exciting) times in anyone’s lives.

At Coast To Coast Conveyancing, simplicity isn’t just a slogan; it’s how they do business. Senior Conveyancer Jessika Avenell explains that their process is built around taking the stress out of buying or selling property.

“People have enough on their plates without trying to navigate the ins and outs of conveyancing,” Jess says. “Our goal is to make it straightforward, clear, and easy to understand. If clients don’t get it, then we haven’t done our job properly.”

The team now includes Jess plus Commercial Lawyer and Director Anthony Murdoch; Property Lawyer Cass Young, who assists in all things conveyancing and also covers commercial work along with wills and estates; and Georgia Whittaker who recently joined as Conveyancing Assistant.

Jess says that expanding the team has been critical to managing the workload without compromising service quality.

“Our team has grown and we already see the potential for growth next year,” she said. “It’s about having enough hands to keep things moving smoothly and not letting anyone fall through the cracks.”

Jess describes that balancing growth and simplicity is a constant focus.

“Adding more team members doesn’t mean complicating things,” she says. “We’ve honed our internal systems to keep the process tight and efficient. “At the same time, we want to remain personable and responsive. That’s what makes the difference for our clients and we know that what they value most is how accessible and responsive we are.

“Clients know they can contact any of us and receive a clear, timely response. That ongoing communication cuts through the confusion that can otherwise make the process daunting.”

Speaking from my own experience, I recently sold a property in Brisbane and used Coast To Coast Conveyancing, and honestly, it was the simplest and most supported process I’ve encountered.

Compared to a previous purchase where I had to chase for answers and was repeatedly left in the dark, this time the process was completely refreshing. The team kept me updated throughout the experience and even when immediate answers weren’t available, I always knew someone was on top of things, which made all the difference.

Their expertise goes beyond just the core local team, with a skilled extended group in other areas so that when questions arise that needed specific legal knowledge, from litigation to commercial law to family matters, they rely on trusted solicitors.

“We recently had a client moving to the USA who needed guidance on a rental agreement under American law so Anthony Murdoch, our Principal and Director who studied law in Delaware, was able to help,” Jess says. “It’s rare that we can’t provide solid advice or access the right expertise.”

This combination of knowledge and a straightforward, friendly approach forms Coast To Coast’s foundation.

Jess highlights how the process has gotten even smoother since Georgia joined the team.

“We’ve been able to manage more without losing that personal touch,” she says. “Clients tell us they notice the difference, and positive feedback keeps coming in.”

Despite busy schedules, the team is careful never to let clients feel like just another file.

“Even a quick reply to acknowledge a question can ease a lot of stress,” she says. “Every client’s case is important.”

The growing team means they can offer deeper support across individual cases.

“If something is unexpected, we have the capacity to move quickly and get expert help without delays,” Jess says. “That peace of mind is huge for people dealing with property, which isn’t an everyday thing for most.”

For most people, buying or selling property isn’t routine, so having a conveyancer who takes care of the
details clearly and simply is crucial.

“People want the journey to be hassle-free, without dealing with unanswered questions or complicated jargon,” she says.

Cass, while still heavily involved in the conveyancing space and pre-contract negotiations, plays a vital role managing the commercial and estates side, allowing Coast To Coast to expand while keeping their signature straightforward service.

“Cass has made a big difference, and it’s great knowing she’s got those added areas covered so we can be more than just a conveyancing firm, but essentially a one-stop-shop and trusted advisor for our clients,” says Jess.

Looking ahead, Jess jokes about how tough it will be to replace Georgia when she fully steps into a conveyancing role.

“She’s a bit irreplaceable as an assistant,” Jess admits.

For now, the priority is maintaining the ease and clarity clients have come to expect.

Coast to Coast Conveyancing remains committed to making property transactions smooth and stress-free.

As I experienced, when the process is handled by a team who communicates well and cares about the details, the whole experience feels easier.

“That’s what really counts,” Jess says.
