About
Alsahwa Estate is a 30-acre regenerative agritourism destination in the Palmwoods hinterland, built on founder Jo Walker’s philosophy of Mind. Body. Planet. After relocating from its original Verrierdale home, Alsahwa transformed the former Stonebridge Gardens site into a place where landscaped gardens, wildflowers, dams and a working regenerative farm all feed into one immersive experience.
At its heart is ēthos, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant led by hatted chef Sophie Phipps, serving hyper-seasonal, farm-to-plate dishes crafted from Alsahwa’s own spray-free produce and honey, alongside trusted local growers and producers. Beyond the plate, guests can wander the botanic-style gardens, join Bees & Brunch workshops, book long-table feasts and curated picnics, or celebrate weddings and milestone events across the estate.
With more than 1,100 plants added to boost biodiversity and a genuine community following growing fast, Alsahwa Estate has quickly become one of the Coast’s most-loved gathering places.
