Breeze of Italy is an intimate, family-owned Italian wine bar in the heart of Cotton Tree, brought to life by hospitality duo Bryan Gerlini and Izabela Ogonek. Bryan, originally from Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region, moved to Australia in 2009 and has cooked in high-profile venues including Brunetti in Melbourne and Fratelli Paradiso and 10 William Street in Sydney.
Decorated in dark, moody tones reminiscent of Italy’s stylish wine bars, Breeze of Italy offers dozens of imported Italian, French and Spanish wines, more than 30 available by the glass, alongside Bryan’s Italian-inspired menu of warm bread with parmesan butter, authentic cheeses, charcuterie and seasonal dishes.
Seating up to 30 guests inside and out, the venue is designed to feel like being welcomed into Bryan and Izabela’s own living room, a warm, genuine slice of Italy on the Sunshine Coast.
