Fish House Steak & Grill is the latest venture from Kristine and Todd Young, the duo behind multi-award-winning Bella Venezia, bringing their signature excellence to the Mooloolaba Spit. Taking over the former Fish on Parkyn and Sakana sites, the venue pairs line-caught seafood straight from the Mooloolaba wharves with premium dry-aged and Wagyu steaks, all touched with Japanese fusion flair under Executive Chef Ben Achurch.
Since opening in August 2025, Fish House has earned an AGFG Chef’s Hat within just four months, an achievement Kristine puts down to a menu that gives steak lovers, seafood enthusiasts and the simply curious something genuinely different. The communal Land and Sea Tasting Menus and shared tomahawk steaks have become a signature ritual for groups, served in a relaxed, polished space with a semi-open kitchen and dry-aged beef display.
