Funny Coast Comedy brings world-class comedians and hilarious live shows to the Sunshine Coast, delivering a mega dose of laughter every single month across the region’s best venues. Founded by comedian couple Mick Neven and Nicky Wilkinson, both seasoned UK stand-up performers turned Sunshine Coast locals, Funny Coast has built a loyal following over its first five years.
Between them, Mick and Nicky have taken on Edinburgh Fringe, Melbourne International Comedy Festival, army bases in the Middle East and the UK’s toughest new-act competitions, before bringing that experience home to build something for the local comedy scene. Beyond the headline shows featuring names like Dave Hughes, Mel Buttle and Tom Ballard, they’re just as passionate about developing new talent through Open Mic nights, Raw Comedy heats and workshops.
