Pack your boots and follow the blue skies inland — because the Mundubbera Blueberry Festival is the kind of weekend that reminds you why leaving the coast occasionally is absolutely good for the soul. Nestled in the heart of Queensland’s North Burnett, the aptly named Mundubbera – an Aboriginal word meaning “meeting place of the waters” –throws open its farm gates for three glorious days of big skies, real produce and proper music.
The next festival runs 25–27 September 2026, with the festivities kicking off Friday evening with the intimate fine-dining event, Locavore 4626, before Saturday’s Berry Big Day Out – an artisan market and family fun day on the banks of the mighty Burnett River –and the legendary Blueberry Jam Sesh rounding out the weekend with live music under the stars. Pure country magic, every single time.
