The Curated Plate is a ten-day food festival running 24 July to 2 August 2026 across the Sunshine Coast, and rather than basing itself in one hub, events are spread right across the region — from beachfront to hinterland. This year’s program is led by culinary director Peter Kuruvita, with chef dinners, farm tours, seafood feasts and cooking masterclasses on the menu.
Since debuting in 2019, the festival has grown into a genuine showcase of local producers, chefs and restaurants, told through food and the experiences behind it. It’s picked up recognition too, taking out Best Small Regional Event at the 2024 Australian Event Awards. With more than 50 events on offer this year, it’s worth planning ahead — some sell out fast.
