There’s no better way to show our love for one another than to share food. In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we’ve put together a SAVVY list of the most romantic restaurants on the Sunshine Coast, where you can celebrate love with a full stomach and full heart!

At the heart of human connection, you’ll often find food. Think about it! We bring share plates to family gatherings, catch up with friends over coffee or cocktails, and first dates almost always happen over a restaurant table! Whether you want to drag your significant other out of bed for brunch or indulge in late-night drinks at your leisure, SURPRISE your taste buds with our favourite flavourful destinations across the Coast!

BELOVED BREKKY

Fancy an à la carte brunch to inspire your romantic morning? Miss May has a menu worth getting out of bed for! The café’s artistic brunch, baked goods and dreamy surrounds are perfect for your Valentine’s Day or Galentine’s Day celebrations.

If you and your lover prefer to speed up rather than settle down, take a pit stop at Rick’s Bakehouse before you start your Valentine’s Day. At the latest offering from Rick’s Garage, fuel your caffeine cravings, try fresh croissants and take something sweet for the road!

LOVING LUNCH

No one does a long lunch like Bask Eumundi. Laze away with your lover in the tropical gardens of Eumundi’s most romantic venue as you taste and savour local delicacies and desserts. If you can’t get enough, join us for our luxurious Bask Wine Lunch on 25 February, pairing a four-course feast with Gilbert Family Wines.

For the casual couples, Eudlo General Store is your go-to café serving up country classics with a refined twist. Celebrate love with coffee, bakery delights and some of the best pies on the Sunshine Coast. They’ve got you covered for Valentine’s Day gifts too, with Kokopod chocolate available in store!

Does your lover need something more than a box of chocolates this 14 February? Satisfy her/his/their sweet tooth with a box of donuts instead! Kenilworth Country Bakery’s world famous donuts are now only a beach trip away at Kenilworth Coastal Bakery – and they’ve got fresh pies and sausage rolls too!

FINE DINING INFATUATION

Tiffany’s Maleny knows how to deliver exquisite high tea to their tables, but their talented chefs have mastered more than sweet and savoury delights. From 12 to 20 February, the venue will open exclusively as an à la carte restaurant for the Month of Love. Fall in love on the Maleny escarpment as you share award-winning cuisine, premium wines and panoramic views.

Share an intimate Italian dining experience at All’ Antica, with traditional recipes that showcase provincial cuisine with traditional dishes from the Northern Alps Alps to the rich waters of the Mediterranean that surround Sicily. Is there anything more romantic?

ALBA by Kuruvita embodies the essence of fine food with a combined café, providore, pizzeria, and relaxed all-day dining. If you and your loved ones are searching for the perfect place to indulge your taste buds, visit ALBA for signature dishes, mouth-watering crustaceans, wood-fired pizza and more.

Show that special someone just how much they mean to you by treating them to a Market Bistro Valentine’s Day dinner. Enjoy a three-course set menu with a glass of Mumm NV upon arrival for $110 per person.

DRINKS WITH YOUR DARLINGS

For you and your loved ones, The Wharf is the eat-and-drink hub at the heart of Mooloolaba. While their romantic restaurants dish out award-winning cuisine, the drinks are to die for. Share speakeasy whisky and cocktails at the Boston Shaker Bar, pair Asian street food with zesty cocktails and more in the Rice Boi Beer Garden or get a taste of brewhouse craft beer at The Savvy Squire.

Are you one for public declarations of love? Celebrate Valentine’s Day in a lively atmosphere at Peregian Beach Hotel, where the drinks menu offers a familiar watering hole selection and raises the bar where it counts to offer you an impressive craft beer collection and charming wine menu. If you visit this weekend, you’ll catch live music too!

If you think your charm and good looks alone are going to sweep your date off their feet this year, Sunshine & Sons loves your confidence, but they suggest gin – one of love’s great sidekicks will really help you in the wooing department. Until Valentine’s Day, they’ll throw in a free pair of etched gin glasses for every online order! P.S. Nil Desperandum – Australia’s First Organic Certified Rum launches on 22 February. Join Sunshine & Sons at the distillery for a full afternoon of live entertainment, great food and of course, really really good rum.
