Paw-fect Peregian Beach for Doggy Vibes
Every dog must have its day and that day is named Doggy Vibes. It’s the furriest fun on the planet. In fact, Carlie Wacker calls it ‘Disneyland for doggos and their hoomans’.
Hi I’m Carlie and I am addicted to DOGS! Any canine related activity gives me those special goosebumps we save for only for the most exciting events. I’ve got them now just thinking about the entire Peregian Village Square filled with our fluffy best friends and stalls catering to every canine requirement.
The joy we get from sharing our lives with a pet should not be underestimated. Approximately two thirds of Australians own a pet. If my calculations are correct that means around 293,000 people in the Noosa and Sunshine Coast shires have a pet – that’s a lot of happy pet people that should save the date for Doggy Vibes – Sunday 25 September.
The Village Peregian Beach’s Doggy Vibes event debuted in 2021 and it cemented The Village’s position as the most dog-friendly destination on the Coast. In 2022 the day promises to deliver an even bigger and better day out of dogs and dog owners during the September school holidays.
Last year’s event drew in local dog lovers to peruse the stalls of dog fashion, accessories, grooming, toys, health and wellness and so much more. The pet industry is booming and there are some spirited brands and businesses keen to share their wares (I am always happy to see what’s new in the pet accessory zoo). I cannot wait to see some existing and emerging dog gear this year.
Throughout the day the village square will be alive with talks, demonstrations and lots of competitions to keep us all on our toes (and paws).
A canine crowd favourite is The Peticular Muttini Bar shaking up Pawtinis, Pawroni, Paw Blonde and more to keep our furry friends hydrated and happy. Stations will be set up around the Village to snap some Instagram-worthy moments with your besties and once again they will be raising funds on the day for their charity partners, RSPCA Noosa and Smart Pups Assistance Dogs, with some amazing prize packs to raffle.
The best way to make the most of your Doggy Vibes experience is to book lunch at one of the gorgeous restaurants, bars and cafes to secure the best position to soak up all the fun of this dog’s day out!
Peregian Beach Village is such a beautiful dog-friendly village and this event is one that will further bond your family, fur kids and love of this part of Sunshine Coast.
As a super special bonus this year, the Sunny Coast’s best doggy day out will wrap up in the most paw-fect way with live music in the Village Square before the action moves to the Peregian Park for Village Flicks with fairy floss, face painting and screening of the movie Clifford the Big Red Dog!
The Village will again come alive for Enchanted on 12 November with an enchanting evening under tipis for a party event under the stars including live music from the likes of DJ DÈ SAINT, a food truck, drinks from Sunshine & Sons and other local legends. And don’t miss the 58th Peregian Beach Christmas Carols on 21 December!

Party under a Tipi in Peregian Park to raise funds to light up Peregian Village. Arrive by 6pm for a complimentary drink and nibbles or purchase delights from the onsite food truck, Sunshine & Sons Cocktail Bar as well as wine & beer. Marvel at magical delights with roving performers, enchanting adult face painting and groove all night to live music including DJ DÉ SAINT. Dress enchantingly! Incredible raffle & prizes to be won.

Santa and his helpers will sprinkle the festive fun for the 58th Christmas Carols! Raw Ordio will return with funky remixes of our favourite Christmas Carols that will have everyone moving, grooving and singing along!
