Sunshine & Sons Vodka was named World’s Best in the World Vodka Awards from a line-up of more than 20 countries! It follows a Gold medal win as Australia’s best in the Botanical Vodka category. Moffat Beach Brewing Co. has cleaned up again at the Royal Queensland Awards, with its Trilogy IPA scoring a hat trick, winning Champion IPA, Queensland Beer of the Show and the Grand Champion.

The following superstars have received two Australian Good Food Guide Chef Hat Awards: The Long Apron, Montville; Bask, Peregian Beach; The Tamarind Restaurant, Maleny. One Chef’s Hat was also awarded to Mooloolaba’s Bella Venezia and Spice Bar; Dee Den and Honeysuckle Restaurant in Buderim; and The Spirit House, Yandina.

Woombye Cheese Company has achieved second place at the WORLD Championship Cheese Contest for their Blackall Gold Washed Rind!!

From 12 April, Spice Bar Mooloolaba will open Spice Bar Lounge from 4pm-midnight every Friday & Saturday night in the bar adjoining the restaurant, with artfully curated cocktails, an extensive wine list, local tap beers, and small plates and snacks, plus ocean views and rich, sultry decor. Hop to it for the Bottomless Brunch on the last Saturday each month, including Easter Saturday, 30 March.
